A Telegram AI bot for bookings, coming soon
We are building a no-code Telegram bot that answers customers from your own information and books them in. Telegram is coming soon. NextReply already does this on WhatsApp, live on every plan.

Who wants a Telegram bot for business
For some businesses Telegram is where the customers already are. Tutoring centres and academies run Telegram channels for class updates. Tech, gaming and hobby shops have communities there. In parts of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and South-East Asia, Telegram is a mainstream chat app, and many students everywhere use it for study groups. When those customers want to book, they would rather tap your bot than switch apps.
A Telegram bot for business usually means one of two things: a broadcast channel, or a bot that answers questions. NextReply's Telegram bot will be the second kind, built for service businesses: it will answer from your own services, prices and policies, offer open slots, book into Google Calendar and hand chats to your team when a person is needed. It is not live yet. The same AI front desk runs on WhatsApp today, on every plan. To hear when Telegram launches, email hello@nextreply.io. The channels page shows the status of every channel.

If you run a Telegram community today, you can still give its members instant answers and bookings by linking them to your WhatsApp number. The section on using WhatsApp in the meantime explains how.

What the Telegram AI bot will do
- Answer questions 24/7: prices, timings, location, policies, course details.
- Book appointments, classes and consultations into real free time in Google Calendar, as appointment booking already does on WhatsApp.
- Reply in the customer's language, automatically.
- Hand off to staff with an instant notification, for complaints, refunds or anything you choose.
- Share one knowledge base with WhatsApp, so the answer on Telegram matches the answer on WhatsApp.
It is designed to be a Telegram customer service bot and a Telegram appointment booking bot at once: most conversations start with a question and end with a booking.
The one Telegram rule to plan around: customers start the chat
Telegram does not let a bot message someone who has not started it. A customer has to open your bot and tap Start, or send a first message, before the bot can reply. That keeps Telegram free of spam and it shapes how you will use the channel: Telegram is an inbound front door, not a way to message people cold.
When the bot launches, make it easy to start:
- Share the bot link (t.me/yourbusinessbot) in your Instagram bio, website footer and email signature.
- Pin it in your Telegram channel with a line like "Questions or bookings? Message our assistant."
- Print a QR code at reception, on class handouts or on receipts.
An example: a tutoring academy
Here is the kind of conversation the Telegram bot is being built for. NextReply runs the same exchange on WhatsApp today:
Student: "hi, is there a weekend IELTS batch? how much"
AI: "Hi! Yes, the weekend IELTS batch runs Saturdays and Sundays, 10am to 1pm, for 6 weeks. The course fee is $180, and it starts with a diagnostic test. The next test slots are Thursday 6pm or Saturday 9am. Want me to book one?"
Student: "saturday"
AI: "Your name, please?"
Student: "Dilnoza"
AI: "Booked: Dilnoza, IELTS diagnostic test, Saturday, 9:00am. Bring your passport or ID."
The test slot goes into the academy's Google Calendar, so the same seat is not offered twice. If the student had asked for a refund on a previous course, the AI would have handed the chat to staff. See the wider academy setup on our tutoring and education page.
- Customer message: “Any slot tomorrow afternoon?”
- AI receptionist: Reads service, date and time
- Checks your calendar: Offers only free slots
- Confirms in the chat: Name, service and time
- Booked: In Google Calendar, owner alerted
Using WhatsApp in the meantime
Until the Telegram bot is ready, you can route booking conversations from your Telegram audience to WhatsApp, where NextReply answers and books right now:
- Pin a WhatsApp link in your Telegram channel: "Book a class or ask a question any time: [wa.me link]."
- Add a WhatsApp QR code to class handouts and the reception desk alongside your Telegram channel QR.
- Keep Telegram for announcements and WhatsApp for one-to-one questions and bookings. Many academies already split them this way.
- Let students send voice notes. On WhatsApp, NextReply understands voice notes and photos, such as a picture of a timetable or a fee receipt.
When Telegram launches, the plan is for your bot to use the same services, hours and FAQs, so the work you do now carries over.

Other businesses that will benefit from a Telegram bot
Barbershops and beauty studios
Younger customers in many cities prefer Telegram. A bot can book a cut with a specific barber and answer "how much for a fade with beard?" from your list.
Repair shops and IT services
Customers describe a problem and want a drop-off time. The bot will share diagnostic fees, book a drop-off slot and pass technical questions to the technician.
Clinics and wellness studios
Where patients use Telegram, the bot will book consultations and classes. Clinical questions always go to staff.
Communities and events
Workshops, tastings and classes with limited seats work well: each session is a calendar slot with a set capacity.
No code, no workflow to maintain
Search for a Telegram AI bot and you will find two kinds of answer: workflow templates you assemble yourself, and freelancers who build a custom bot. Both can work. Both leave you maintaining something: an automation that breaks when an API changes, or a bot only its developer understands.
NextReply is a ready-made front desk. You write your services, hours and FAQs in plain language, connect Google Calendar and set handoff rules. When prices or hours change, you edit them once. That is how it works on WhatsApp today, and Telegram will follow the same model.
Handoff and notifications
You will choose which chats need a person: complaints, refunds, payment problems, anything outside your knowledge base, or any customer who asks for a human. The AI tells the customer a person will reply, sends your team an instant notification and steps back. Telegram customers often message late at night, so it helps to set the expected response time in the handoff message ("our team replies from 9am"). Our after-hours replies page covers this pattern on WhatsApp.
- Unusual request: Complaint, refund or special case
- AI receptionist: Knows when to step back
- Answers from your FAQs: Services, hours and prices / Hands the chat over: Your team is notified
- Your team replies: Same chat, full history
Reminders and follow-ups
Appointment reminders are coming soon to NextReply. They are built and waiting on Meta's template approval, and they will run on WhatsApp, where customers opt in and Meta's template system supports scheduled messages. On Telegram, customers will be able to message the bot to check or change a booking. We will confirm any Telegram follow-up features when the channel launches.

Writing answers that work on Telegram
Telegram users tend to write short, fast messages and expect the same back. These habits make any chat assistant feel natural, and they help on WhatsApp today:
- Keep answers compact. List the price, the time and the next step.
- Write course and service names the way customers type them. "IELTS weekend", "fade + beard", "laptop screen" are easier for the AI to match when your list includes them.
- Add capacity to group sessions. Workshops, diagnostic tests and taster classes need a seat limit so the AI stops offering a full session.
- Explain your policies once. Cancellation notice, late arrivals and deposits. The AI repeats them consistently, and refund requests still go to staff.
Privacy and measuring results
Chats with a bot contain personal data: names, sometimes phone numbers, booking times. Collect only what the booking needs and tell customers that an assistant handles bookings and a person is available. The privacy laws of your country apply whichever app the customer uses.
Before launch, count how many booking questions arrive through your Telegram channel each week and how many go unanswered overnight. That baseline tells you whether turning on the Telegram bot will be worth it, or whether your WhatsApp link already covers most of the demand.

Questions people ask
Is the NextReply Telegram bot available now?
Not yet. Telegram is coming soon. NextReply works today on WhatsApp, on every plan. Email hello@nextreply.io and we will tell you when the Telegram bot launches.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan has a 7-day free trial. Connect your WhatsApp number, add your services and let the AI answer and book real customers before you pay.
Can a Telegram bot message my customers first?
No. Telegram bots can only message people who have started the bot. When ours launches, share the bot link and a QR code so customers can begin the conversation.
Will I need to code anything?
No. You write your services, prices, hours and FAQs in plain language in NextReply. That is how WhatsApp works today, and Telegram will connect from the same dashboard.
What can I do for Telegram customers right now?
Pin a WhatsApp link in your Telegram channel and add a WhatsApp QR code to your materials. NextReply answers and books those customers on WhatsApp, including voice notes and photos.
Will the bot send reminders on Telegram?
Appointment reminders are coming soon to NextReply and are planned for WhatsApp, with customer opt-in. We will confirm any Telegram follow-up features at launch.
Will Telegram bookings use the same calendar as WhatsApp?
That is the plan: every channel books into the same Google Calendar, so a slot taken in one chat app is not offered in another.
