Resort front desk phone answering a German WhatsApp enquiry at night

For resorts, hotels and dive shops

Never leave an overseas guest on 'seen'

Foreign guests message from other time zones. The AI answers rates, room types and transfers in their language and logs every booking while you sleep. Try it free for 7 days.

WhatsApp booking for resorts in the Philippines, across every time zone

A couple in Munich plans two weeks in Palawan. At 10pm their time, which is 4am in El Nido, they message four resorts on WhatsApp: "Hi, do you have a sea-view room for 12 to 16 March? How do we get from Puerto Princesa? Can you arrange island hopping?" Three resorts reply after breakfast. One replies in thirty seconds, in German, with room options, the transfer details and a link to book a call. Guess which one they choose.

NextReply gives resorts, boutique hotels and dive shops WhatsApp booking in the Philippines that never sleeps. The AI answers foreign guests in their own language, explains rates, room types, packages and transfers from the information you provide, books activities and calls into your Google Calendar, and logs room enquiries for your reservations team with every detail captured. Nobody is left on "seen".

Foreign guests message on WhatsApp, at their hour

Local weekenders from Manila and Cebu tend to message your Facebook Page. Foreign guests, especially from Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Korea and North America, are far more likely to use WhatsApp. They also message in their own evening, which lands between midnight and dawn in the Philippines. A front desk that only replies during the day loses those guests to resorts that reply first, or to an online travel agency that answers instantly and keeps the commission.

Direct WhatsApp enquiries are among the most valuable a resort gets: the guest found you, wants to talk to you and has not booked elsewhere yet. Replying fast and well is how you keep that booking direct.

What the AI handles for a resort

  • Rates and room types: standard, deluxe, villas, family rooms, with seasonal rates and inclusions you define.
  • Packages: honeymoon, dive, island-hopping and long-stay packages explained the same way every time.
  • Transfers and directions: airport pick-ups from Puerto Princesa, Caticlan, Siargao or Mactan, boat schedules and travel times.
  • Activities and experiences: island hopping, dives, spa treatments, cooking classes and tours booked into time slots in Google Calendar.
  • Room enquiries: dates, guests, room preference and special requests captured in full, then handed to your reservations team to confirm availability and take the deposit.
  • Practical FAQs: check-in times, Wi-Fi, power cuts and generators, payment methods, pets, children's policies.

Room inventory stays in your existing property or channel-management system. NextReply does not replace it; it makes sure every WhatsApp enquiry is answered and every detail is collected before your team confirms.

When the AI hands a chat to your team
  1. Unusual request: Complaint, refund or special case
  2. AI receptionist: Knows when to step back
  3. Answers from your FAQs: Services, hours and prices / Hands the chat over: Your team is notified
  4. Your team replies: Same chat, full history

Dive shop WhatsApp booking: certifications, gear and boat slots

Dive shops in Moalboal, Anilao, Coron and Malapascua get detailed questions: "Is the thresher shark dive suitable for Advanced Open Water?", "Do you rent a 5mm wetsuit?", "Can we do a refresher first?" For dive shop WhatsApp booking, you add your dive sites, course list, requirements, gear rental and boat schedule. The AI answers, asks for the diver's certification level, and books the boat slot or course start in Google Calendar.

Divers can send a photo of their certification card. The AI uses it to route the booking and passes it to your instructor to check; the final decision on whether a dive is suitable always stays with your dive professional.

Diver: "Hi, two of us, AOW, arriving Moalboal on 8 Feb. Want 2 fun dives on 9 Feb and the sardine run. Price?"
NextReply: "Hi! Welcome in advance. On 9 Feb we have the morning two-tank boat dive at 8:00am; the sardine run is a shore dive at 2:00pm. Two boat dives plus the shore dive come to ₱4,500 per diver, including tanks and weights. Shall I book both of you for 9 Feb, and may I have your names?"

From first message to confirmed booking
  1. Customer message: “Any slot tomorrow afternoon?”
  2. AI receptionist: Reads service, date and time
  3. Checks your calendar: Offers only free slots
  4. Confirms in the chat: Name, service and time
  5. Booked: In Google Calendar, owner alerted

A hotel WhatsApp bot for the Philippines that talks like your staff

Guests can tell a clumsy bot from a helpful one in two messages. You set NextReply's personality: warm and relaxed for a surf camp in General Luna, polished and formal for a luxury resort near Station 1 in Boracay. The AI replies in the guest's language, whether English, German, Korean, French, Japanese or Arabic, and also handles Taglish from local guests: "Hi po, may available pa po ba for 4 pax this weekend?"

As a hotel WhatsApp bot in the Philippines, it answers within your rules and never invents policies. If a guest asks something you have not covered, it says a staff member will reply and hands over the chat.

Replies in each customer’s language
  1. مرحبا، عندكم موعد؟ / Olá, tem horário? / Hola, ¿hay cita? / Hi, any slots?
  2. Detects the language: From a WhatsApp text or voice note
  3. Replies in that language: You set it up once

In-house guests: spa, dinner and tours during the stay

The chat does not end at check-in. Guests already at your resort message for a massage at 4pm, a table for the sunset dinner or tomorrow's island-hopping trip. The AI books those slots against each therapist's, restaurant's or boat's Google Calendar, confirms instantly and notifies your staff. Your front desk handles arrivals and departures while the AI handles the steady stream of small bookings that make up so much of a resort's revenue.

Peak season, typhoon days and last-minute changes

Philippine resorts live with two extremes. From December to May, especially around Christmas, Chinese New Year and Holy Week, enquiries pour in and rooms sell out weeks ahead. From June to November, weather decides everything: a typhoon signal can cancel boat trips and flights at a few hours' notice, and every guest messages at once asking what happens now.

In peak season, the AI keeps up with volume and tells guests clearly when dates are full, offering alternatives or a waitlist handoff to your team. On bad-weather days, update your FAQ with the current status, for example "All island-hopping trips are cancelled today; full refund or free rebooking", and every guest gets the same accurate answer. The AI can move activity bookings to new dates in the same chat, and anything that needs a decision, such as refunds or room changes, goes to your staff with the guest's details ready.

Confirmations now, reminders coming soon

Every activity booking gets an instant WhatsApp confirmation with the time and meeting point, so the guest has it in the same chat the night before an early boat departure. Guests who need to change plans reply in that chat and the AI passes the change request to your team with the booking details. Automatic reminders, for example the evening before a 6am island-hopping trip, are coming soon; they will be opt-in WhatsApp template messages billed by Meta per message, at the rate for the guest's phone country. The guide to reducing no-shows explains what helps today.

From first message to confirmed booking
  1. Customer message: “Any slot tomorrow afternoon?”
  2. AI receptionist: Reads service, date and time
  3. Checks your calendar: Offers only free slots
  4. Confirms in the chat: Name, service and time
  5. Booked: In Google Calendar, owner alerted

Instagram DMs: price and availability questions, coming soon

Resorts sell on Instagram. A drone shot of your villa row brings "how much per night?" and "available in April?" from all over the world. Instagram support in NextReply is coming soon; when it launches, a resort Instagram DM booking enquiry will get a real answer from the same rates and FAQs. For now, the best route is a "Chat with us on WhatsApp" link in your bio and story highlights: foreign guests already use WhatsApp, and the AI there answers in their language and captures every detail. See what is planned on the Instagram AI agent page and the channels overview, or email hello@nextreply.io to hear when it goes live.

Deposits and payment questions

Foreign guests ask about card payments, bank transfers and whether they can pay on arrival. Local guests ask about GCash and Maya. NextReply does not process payments. You add your deposit policy and payment instructions, the AI shares them, and your reservations team confirms payments and sends the final confirmation.

Guest data and the Data Privacy Act

Collect only what a booking needs: name, dates, number of guests, contact and requests. Passport details and card numbers do not belong in a chat with an AI; ask for them through your usual secure channel. The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) applies to guest data your resort collects, foreign guests included.

Plans for resorts and dive shops

A boutique resort or dive shop usually fits Starter at $29 a month, with up to 500 bookings. Larger resorts with a spa, restaurant and activities often choose Pro at $59 for full conversation history. Resort groups that want enquiries in a CRM use Business at $99. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial; prices are in US dollars, and your card or bank may show an estimate in pesos at checkout. The booking engine is described on the appointment booking page and the calendar link on the Google Calendar integration page.
